I am a Dog Breeder, not just breeding dogs! Breeding should be based on years spent learning about your chosen breed from knowledgeable mentors who are willing to share; understanding your standard and applying that standard to produce a family of dogs that breed true in type while having a style distinctly their own; and, most importantly, fit the breed standard as closely as possible generation after generation.
All of our puppies are bred from OFA health tested parents who have OFA excellent or good passing hips , normal Patella's, BAER tested normal and complete blood panel done prior to breeding.
Puppies are placed AFTER the age of 10 weeks old.
We DO NOT SHIP PUPPIES and we must meet you in person and build a relationship before we can decide if you would be a good home for a Bellatak puppy.
We strive to produce the happiest, healthiest Havanese that will be a member of your family for a long time. We believe that breeding for the best Havanese temperament is very important as is structure and health.
All pet quality puppies must be spayed/neutered per our contract.
Our puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized.
We are trying to produce the BEST quality Havanese we can to improve the breed overall.
All our puppies are meant to be "family members" first, whether they will be trying to earn their AKC Championship, earning titles in Companion/Performance Events or doing Therapy dog.
We do temperament testing at 7 weeks old and conformation evaluations at 8 weeks of age.
We prefer to not place puppies in homes with children under the age of 8 years old.
We do not place our puppies on a "first come, first serve" basis. Instead, we must build a trusting relationship that works both ways.
